The Role Purpose:
Being on NEOM's Mobility team, you will be part of an exceptional team of engineers building the future of mobility. Mobility at NEOM comprises of electric vehicles on the ground, on the water, and in the air. You will lead and manage oversight of execution of mobility projects, with attention to interdependencies among projects, ensuring successful delivery of Mobility projects (Infrastructure). You will work cross-functionally with all business units of the Land mobility team including urban, rail, water and air.
Reporting directly to the Director of Infrastructure & asset Development. The successful candidate will work on projects to support the design and construction of assets within Regional & Urban Mobility as a member of the Infrastructure Delivery team representing the sector. The successful candidate will coordinate with the Project Management Team, as well as other NEOM sectors and departments. The position will lead all Project Management activities and will work adjacent to similar roles in the NEOM organization
Key Accountabilities & Activities:
Manage deployment of complex mobility projects across the different divisions in the land mobility team (air, water, rail, urban and digital)
Knowledge of design and construction of infrastructure projects. Ability to lead and track Consultants/PMC's progress
Create an integrated roadmap, schedules, milestones, drive execution and tracking progress across all Mobility projects
Be a key pillar in Mobility program management, and across project leaders to deliver projects
Establish metrics to assess execution of projects across the organization
Guide and standardize how projects are run among the teams
Ensure maximum reuse of best practices and lessons learned across the teams/projects
Develop thorough understanding of NEOM processes including design stages, design reviews and approvals, quality standards, and use this to guide Mobility projects through the various stages of project execution
Identify key project stakeholders including various NEOM sectors including Operations, Projects and ETSD, among others, to acquire necessary approvals and to collaborate with for successful project delivery
Using insights from executed projects within NEOM and across the region, identify risks, key issues, critical dependencies, and develop plans to achieve desired outcomes.
Communicate program status, key risks, and issues across Mobility leadership, PMO and among teams
Act as a champion to hold the team accountable and ensure that deadlines are met across high-priority, cross-functional projects, and projects delivered on time
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
8-12 years in the engineering/construction delivery field, with proven record of successfully delivering medium to large-scale technology, infrastructure, and services-oriented projects and/or programs
Excellent communication skills, with experience leading/tracking projects in a fast-paced consultancy environment
Must have engineering qualifications, preferably civil engineer and industrial experience in international projects
Must have a working understanding of PMO processes, tools, and policies in a managerial or senior managerial or role
Must have the ability to breakdown complex technology projects into work packages such that project risks in relevant areas can be clearly identified, and progress can be clearly tracked and managed
knowledge of agile project management methodologies
Qualifications
Demonstration of continuous trainings and certificates related to the construction and project management field. Master's degree preferred. Master's degree can be substituted for 1-2 years of experience at the line manager discretion
