Primary Responsibilities
Lead and execute content strategy of internal and external communication and managing stakeholder relations.
Oversees strategic corporate communications: internal and external communications (including customer care), implementation of brand guidelines, corporate relations, and other such corporate communications and/or public affairs-related processes.
Lead and provide direction for the strategic marketing activities of: marketing communications (e.g. publicity, advertising, crises communications, client feedback) sales/marketing collaboration (monitoring of sales/marketing systems, development of marketing materials, events, activities) and other appropriate marketing (digital and non-digital) processes and services.
Lead marketing champions community of SGS PH group comprising of representatives from various businesses in the effective and cohesive implementation of marketing initiatives.
Manage the Managing Director's communications, calendar, meeting schedules, travels and other relevant engagements including required preparation.
Provide high level, organized, structured, general administrative support, which includes but not limited to creating, maintaining, editing documents, spreadsheets, files and presentations
May have to represents MD in business affairs with the bureaus or other government bodies and/or private sectors or other as
Specific Responsibilities
1. ON CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS
o Maintains and oversees the SGS branding guidelines across the organization
o Manages strategic Corporate Sustainability (CS) programs and activities that includes CS Reporting and organization-sponsored Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
o Development, implementation, maintenance of Crisis Communications, in particular focus for Business Continuity Management
o Actively leads the communication function within the COVID-19 Incident / Crisis Management Team or any future incident / crisis, ensuring business continuity and sustaining employee and other stakeholders engagement.
2. ON CUSTOMER CARE
o Ensure all customer concerns and inquiries are well attended, lodged, and managed.
o Maintenance of the CRM system, leads, and enquiries in coordination with the business.
o Provides strategic ways to maintain a good brand reputation and monitors customers satisfaction through surveys / customers feedbacks.
3. ON DIGITAL MARKETING
o Develops medium-term and long-term organizational digital marketing plan for SGS PH group.
o Manages market information for the purposes of organizational marketing.
o Operates as the Content Owner/Coordinator for Content Marketing (creation / sharing of media and publishing content to acquire and retain customers) and other strategic marketing communications.
o Manages public relations, advertising and promotions, corporate relations and other marketing communications and marketing-related operations as assigned.
o Manages strategic and tactical marketing tools and systems as assigned (i.e. client feedback, brand awareness / perception, etc.)
4. ON EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION
o Create professional documents, spreadsheets, and graphics for producing reports, presentations, and other correspondence.
o Anticipate materials, documents, deadlines needed for Managing Director
o Receives and reviews all incoming correspondences addressed to MDs office and distributes them as appropriate to people concerned
o Draft memos, letters, and other written correspondences or documents.
o Calendars travel, meeting, and email management for the Managing Director.
o Coordinate outside visitors especially those that may involve MDs office and relevant needs including but not limited to meeting room preparation / coordination, invitation, meals ordering or booking, etc.
o Answer and screen call in a professional manner handles questions and meeting requests directed to senior management.
o Maybe required to prepare Request for Payments related to MDs company-related subscriptions or other payables.
o Performs other related duties as may be assigned either in support of company's goal attainment, or for personal / professional training, or development or others as maybe assigned appropriately by the MD.
5. Complies with the Quality, Health and Safety, Environment and Energy (QHSEE) and Other SGS Policies and supporting objectives including, but not limited to:
o Demonstrates strong commitment to SGS QHSEE policies, procedures, and work instructions by actively participating in meetings, projects, and events, completes required training, intervenes in unsafe situations, refuses unsafe work, and complies fully with all applicable laws and regulations related to HSEE.
o Responds appropriately and immediately to emergency situations and assists other staff members in maintaining readiness to respond to emergencies within the workplace.
o Disposes or directs the disposal of waste generated as a part of daily work performed in a safe manner and in compliance with the disposal regulations and requirements, and in accordance with SGS Environmental Management System requirements.
o Reports all incidents, including near misses and hazards, that may affect the achievement of QHSEE objectives in accordance with SGS Incident Reporting and Management requirements.
o Efficiently uses all equipment, including safety equipment, and company owned property in the manner intended and reports any damaged / lost equipment to immediate superior.
o Maintains a safe and tidy worksite according to the organization's 5S program and guidelines.
o Maintains awareness of the safety and health related hazards and environmental aspects and proposes action plans to control the risks to immediate superior or QHSEE Coordinators.
o Actively participates in incident investigations and risk assessments as deemed necessary by SGS management.
o Fulfills the requirements needed in the success of the QHSEE Management System.
o Recognizes the potential consequences of not following the established policies, procedures, and guidelines, including not fulfilling the organization's compliance obligations.
o Complies with SGS Group policies, including but not limited to: Business Principles, Code of Integrity, Rules for Life, Operational Integrity Management System, Sustainability, IT Policy, and the likes.
Qualifications
o At least, a graduate of a 4-year marketing communications or communications course or marketing-related course or a business course with a communications component
o At least 7-year experience in marketing communications (traditional and digital), corporate communications, marketing, or marketing-related industry, with a proven track record in brand championing experience with a multinational corporation or organization is an advantage
o Proven track record in advertising, public relations, and other marketing communications disciplines.
o Excellent skills in the English language in all communications aspects on a corporate or business environment.
o Proven experience in representing a company / organization in terms of corporate relations and/or public affairs.
o With proven record in integrity and business ethics.
