Job Description The Management Reporting Analyst (Global WAM Risk) will be responsible in producing management reports for different Risk Officers across Manulife's Global Wealth and Asset Management (GWAM) business. We are looking for someone with: Bachelor's degree in any discipline Understanding of investment theory and terminologies gained from professional study or relevant work experience Understanding of various financial instruments (fixed income, equity, derivatives, alternative investments) Proficiency in MS Office suite particularly Outlook, Word, and Power Point Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel (i.e. mastery of excel formulas and pivot tables is a must; VBA is a plus) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Keen attention to details Ability to present voluminous information into high-impact, easily-to-understand format Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across multiple departments Ability to work in ambiguous environment and adapt to change while managing time and workload with aggressive timelines Applicants should be willing to report on a fixed night shift schedule Applicants should be willing to report at Diliman, Quezon City Nice to Haves : Familiarity to the operating model of an asset management company Working experience in any investment operations function Background in Operational Risk and/or Market Risk would be an advantage Working knowledge in using Archer Experience in using Power BI and/or SQL On the job you will: Gather data and metrics from various teams across Global WAM. Check data for completeness and consistency. Reach out to the person-in-charge in case in of data issues. Make sure that the collected data is stored in the proper repository. Process raw data into meaningful metrics using Excel or Power BI. Prepare management reports using the collected and processed data. Review the information being reported to ensure they are correct, relevant, and updated. Reach out to the business if there are material changes observed in the metrics, particularly any breaches in the benchmarks. Deliver reports on a timely manner. Build and design new metrics and reports as requested by the business. Coordinate with the parties involved to understand the requirements and the nature of the metrics/reports.
