Description:
Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, this role will be responsible for ensuring financial information are properly controlled and reported, as well as providing critical financial and commercial support to the business. The four primary objectives of this role are under the following functions: Reporting
Preparation and analysis of a variety of financial, management and corporate reports on a timely basis, providing insightful, value adding commentary for senior management. Budget & Forecast Assisting yearly budget preparation and ongoing forecasting
Quality Control Overseeing the integrity of accounting ledgers across the business, ongoing monitoring of the ledger with high quality reconciliations and support Planit Business
Understand Planit business with a strong business acumen
Responsibilities:
This role has a wide range of responsibilities including:
Working with different department to prepare monthly board pack with information and commentary on business performance
Preparation and analysis of a variety of on-going financial and management reports, providing insightful, value added commentary for senior management
Reporting on KPIs for key business drivers to monitor performance and trends
Ensuring accuracy of financial information including balance she reconciliation reviews, P&L reviews
Assisting the preparation of yearly budget and ongoing forecasting
Implementing and maintaining internal controls and continuously seeking improvement opportunities
Assisting ERP implementation
Other ad-hoc tasks as required
Mandatory Skills & Experience:
2-3 years' experience Management or Financial accounting.
Sound knowledge of accounting and financial management
Advance knowledge and experience with Microsoft Suite products (Word, PowerPoint, Power BI) with high level competency in Excel (including Power Query)
Demonstrated experience in developing and analysing financial/operational reports
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
Strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate business partnering
