WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE
The incumbent is responsible for coordinating and leading his/her group in order to meet set production targets (KPIs and other internal targets) within associated production lines. Responsible for shop floor housekeeping in line with 5S standards. support continuous improvement activities within the organization.
WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES
Assure Safe Working Environment for employees and safe act his/her subordinates.
Assure daily business production requirements in associated machines ( QUIP, Rework, standard measurements, prototypes, material trials, product specification) and provide necessary reporting and/or documentation.
Responsible for continuous technical knowledge improvement of his/her subordinates and communicating with his/her superior for training needs together with assessment of them.
Responsible for assuring global and internal set KPIs within associated production lines. Assure zone housekeeping to comply with 5S requirements.
Implement all kinds of maintenance and breakdown activities within associated production lines in coordination with given directions by the superior. Conducting Qsens monitoring
Coordinate the vacation and overtime plan of the groups and his/her subordinates and inform his/her superiors accordingly.
Perform any other tasks commissioned by the supervisor. Compliance with EHS procedures, labor law, corporate guidance, internal regulations, and work performance instructions.
Understand health and safety aspects of their work and learn about potential hazards, know and maintain required control measures in order to keep their workplace healthy and safe.
Develop their competency to do the work healthy and safely, participate in health and safety training and receive appropriate health and safety knowledge and required qualifications, observe and follow safety signs, posters, warning signals, and written directions and instructions.
Know Legal and JTI health and safety requirements associated with the work hazards and comply with all applicable health and safety rules and procedures.
Always demonstrate safe behavior, report incidents and near misses to their supervisor, report identified unsafe conditions and behaviors to their supervisor, and eliminate them within their authority and ability to do so.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must be a graduate of any four-year engineering-related course
Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar job
Good communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
Team player, adaptable, and can work under pressure
Work location: LIMA, Malvar, Batangas
Work schedule: Shifting; 4 days on and 2 days off
The following could be an advantage but not required
Knowledge of packaging machinery and/or technical background in operations
Experience in the tobacco or FMCG industry
Knowledgeable in SAP
