Job Description
I. Project and Maintenance Management
1. Lead the "Permit to Work" process for subcons and all other third parties.
2. Participate in engineering package reviews during the select, define and execute phases of projects and provide constructive input to the Project team.
3. Encourage construction/maintenance and operations personnel to review design packages early in the course of projects to eliminate rework and optimize construction.
4. Anticipate and resolve problems encountered in the field to eliminate costly rework or retesting.
5. Coordinate with end user and/or project owner to ensure proposed construction and work methods are clearly understood and accepted and ensure agreement on environmental and safety work plans.
6. Provide input into the scheduling of projects/maintenance execution to meet the end user's required deadline and maintain construction resources to acceptable levels.
7. Monitor progress to ensure scheduling milestones are understood and are being met.
8. Ensure equipment and manpower resources are being used efficiently.
9. Review contractor work performance and project status updates and ensure to provide accurate updates and other relevant information's to Project Technical Support Engineer
10. Evaluate and recommend progress billing and other billing-related matters and coordinate it to the Project Engineer.
11. Perform efficient and timely Turn over procedure at the completion of the project.
II. Safety Management
12. Maintain compliance with the safety, Health and Environment Standards of the company so that work is accomplished in an environmentally sound manner using safe work practices.
13. Conduct safety observations and conversations to help achieve a zero-incident culture.
14. Coordinate with Company's safety supervisor for the regular performance safety audits and other safety activities appropriate to the construction site.
III. Inventory Management
15. Monitors the stock of In-House construction materials and equipment and ensures their availability in the prompt and efficient completion of tasks.
16. Prepares Site materials requisitions and coordinates with Project Technical Support Engineer for the timely delivery.
17. Establishes and maintains a minimal inventory system for construction material including consumables and other supplies for efficient operation of the project execution.
Facility Improvement Projects
A. CAPEX
18. Assist in the designs and cost estimates CAPEX projects ensuring that these are in accordance with project specifications and applicable standards and forwards to immediate superior and process owner for evaluation and approval.
19. Provide all necessary technical support for all CAPEX projects.
People Development
1. Leads all training under the Team bench Enhancement Programs for the Project Team
2. Builds IDP and provides intervention for the development and growth of direct subordinates.
3. Monitors the services of third-party manpower service provider in the Farm Maintenance Team
Other Tasks :
20. Attends to emergency/special calls relative to structural and civil works problems during night shift, should the need arise.
21. Appointed membership to committees whenever necessary
22. Performs related work as maybe assigned by the immediate superior.
Qualifications
Education:
● Graduate of Civil Engineer
Experience:
Hard Skill
● Excellent Knowledge of and familiarity with construction plans and construction/maintenance management.
● In-depth expertise in capability to interpret plans and requirements
● High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (all programs)
● Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written (technical/financial)
● Communication skills
● Knowledge of major aspects of procurement, construction, project controls and financial
● Good communication skills (verbal and written)
