MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
 
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of Electrical or Electro Mechanical Engineer or any related course.
Experience: 3-5 Years work experience in maintenance in manufacturing company.
Technical knowledge: A strong understanding of various maintenance disciplines is essential. This includes knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), and other relevant areas. The ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues is crucial.
Leadership skills: Maintenance Supervisors are responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians or workers. Strong leadership and management skills are necessary to coordinate and prioritize tasks, assign work, provide guidance, and ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
Communication skills: Maintenance Supervisors must have excellent communication skills to effectively interact with their team members, as well as other departments, contractors, and vendors. Clear and concise communication is essential for conveying instructions, reporting issues, and documenting maintenance activities.
Problem-solving abilities: Maintenance Supervisors encounter a variety of maintenance challenges and must possess strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. They should be able to identify problems, analyze situations, and implement effective solutions while considering factors such as safety, budget constraints, and time limitations.
Knowledge of safety regulations: A thorough understanding of safety regulations and protocols is crucial for a Maintenance Supervisor. They must ensure that maintenance activities are performed in compliance with safety standards and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for the team.
Organization and planning skills: Maintenance Supervisors are responsible for managing maintenance schedules, work orders, inventory, and budgets. Strong organizational and planning skills are necessary to prioritize tasks, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure that maintenance activities are completed on time.
Computer proficiency: Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or other maintenance software is beneficial. Proficiency in using standard office software, such as spreadsheets and word processing applications, is also important for generating reports, maintaining records, and communicating effectively.
Computer proficiency: Familiarity with computer program such as Microsoft Word & Excel
Willing to undergo extended working hours
