Description
Primarily responsible for planning and implementing designs/layouts of plant, offices, and production lines in order to maximize the use of available space and improve production efficiency.
1. Estimates costs related to layout design, including equipment and materials, labor, etc and monitor the construction process.
2. Responsible for proper monitoring of facilities maintenance workload.
3. Researches production/processing equipment or fixtures for purchase and gathers data relating to their ability to meet organizational needs.
4. Performs ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, and other installed systems.
5. Maintains, operates all systems and associated equipment, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, building management system, and building repairs.
6. Performs facility inspections and timely reports condition affecting operations.
7. Monitors and supervises preventive maintenance contracts.
8. Responds to emergencies inside the company premises.
9. Prepares and submits summary reports of conditions in buildings and recommend actions to be taken.
10. Reviews and understands equipment and methods of operation, fire/life safety, and other systems.
11. Complies with all safety procedures and requirements.
12. Ensures compliance to government ordinances and codes.
13. Supports any after-hours building needs and activities as required.
14. Ensures that the building meets health and safety standards and legal requirements.
15. Monitors and supervises services such as cleaning, waste disposal, catering and parking.
16. Manages refurbishment, renovations and office moves.
