Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and fixture replacements.
Carry out carpentry tasks such as building, repairing, or modifying furniture and fixtures.
Set up and maintain sound and audio-visual systems for events, ensuring optimal performance during functions.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and prevent potential issues.
Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and tools, ensuring all equipment is in safe working order.
Collaborate with management and team members to develop and follow a maintenance schedule.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management to minimize disruptions.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing any guest concerns related to facility maintenance.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a maintenance role, ideally within the hospitality or events industry.
Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and audio-visual systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
