The job supports the maintenance organization by ensuring that jobs are properly planned to ensure sequence and duration to perform the maintenance task in safe, effective and efficient manner. To Provide technical expertise creating a job package from the maintenance work order scope to define the details of activity, skill requirement, material, equipment, tools and other resources.
SPECIAL FEATURES
The Maintenance Planner should be as a minimum, Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of maintenance planning and scheduling is required.
5 or more years of maintenance craft experience or exposure to maintenance work in a refining or petrochemical environment with hands-on experience in repair, installation, troubleshooting and upkeep of plant equipment/facilities.
Certification as Maintenance Planner is preferable.
Knowledgeable in best practice work processes for maintenance planning including estimating, materials procurement, and cost control.
Advanced working level knowledge on Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) preferably SAP S4/HANA and scheduling software such as Primavera.
Experience in and understanding of the flow of maintenance work in various crafts.
Must be dedicated to continuously improve JGSPG performance in terms of safety, productivity, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction by taking initiative, identifying improvement opportunities, exhibiting a sense of urgency, setting high personal performance standards, and demonstrating flexibility.
Must be willing to make call outs and work overtime per department needs.
A self-starter who can identify, prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks. Must have strong multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills.
