OVERVIEW
The position is to Manage & maintain the Special Purpose Electrical /Electronic equipment's, components & systems. Under him licensed electrical supervisors and wiremen license holders are responsible to manage Utilities such as Generators, Transformers, Air Compressors, UPS, AC's.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule for machines & utility equipment's, ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out and lead the team to deliver effectively
Optimize utilization of machines & equipment's according to standard procedure, enhancing performance of machines and improve product quality, ensuring the achievement of all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) like Breakdown trends (MTBF, MTTR & OEE)
Ensure routine calibration machines gauges & indicators
Should be aware of Electrical rule book & Departmental audits
Should be aware EHS regularity requirements with electrical rules
Co-ordinate with all OEM suppliers to ensure timely supports for AMC and breakdowns
Perform root cause analysis and provide permeant solutions to major break downs/ repeated breakdowns
Identify and deploy the technical skill sets, resource levels and systems to deliver projects, including the engagement of external resources as required
Manage, coach and develop a high performing Maintenance team that meets agreed objectives, and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements
Set department objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports
Support to department head to prepare the annual Maintenance budget and forecasts and all Capital Expenditure proposals as well as ensuring compliance with legal standards. Manage the budget from identification to completion of projects on time
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance
Conduct risk assessments of Machine, processes, and tasks in the department. Authorized for LOTO & removal of Machine Guarding. Conduct training to all authorized & affected employees being a LOTO Expert
QUALIFICATIONS:
Diploma / BE
5+ years' experience and practitioner in the field of Electrical & Electronics Manufacturing Environment.
Man Management, Machine maintenance, Machine guarding, LOTO & Utility maintenance
PLC programming
