Maintenance Engineerams

Your tasks and responsibilities
Perform Preventive Maintenance activity of AOS Semiconductor Test Systems, Equipment and Peripherals
Equipment failure diagnostics, troubleshooting and repair of major breakdown equipment
Maintain and update Preventive Maintenance and Calibration records and schedules
Highlights potential pitfalls/ equipment- related issues which might have major impact on production commitments
Attends to major 'red flag' issues such as gross chipping, mixed bins, etc.
Perform evaluation and buy-off of newly received equipment, conversion and upgrade kits
Support continuous improvement programs/ projects to have optimum equipment performance and lower maintenance costs
Identify the equipment that needs improvement, conducts problem-root cause analysis to source out possible ways to minimize/ eliminate equipment breakdown and ensures that machine uptime is always within or above the standard set by the department
Support Test Engineering in new device qualification and in solving System to System Correlation issues
Develop/revise Preventive Maintenance procedures and generate specifications to establish cost effective and productive equipment
Responsible for placing purchase requisition of spares
Cooperates and Supports Sustaining Maintenance, Improvement Maintenance, Test Engineering and Test Production Team in achieving or realization of the Key Performance Indicators or the goals set by the department
Administrative Functions - Ensures Company Rules and Regulations are being followed by the subordinates, Responsible for subordinate's time keeping updates and leave approval, Communicates equipment-related issues with manufacturing and engineering group, TDI and X-site administration for Test Equipment, Performs audits on testers and handlers to verify compliance on existing equipment specification, Promotes and maintains housekeeping procedures
Your education and experiences
Bachelor / Degree in Electronics, Education in Basic Electrical and Mechanical Engineering or equivalent background
Experience with Semiconductor Equipment preferred / recommended
Team Player and Communication Skills (in English)
