Description Support troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of production machines according to standard operating procedures and work instructions within assigned area in order to achieve product quality, ensure continuous assembly line operations M Description Support troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of production machines according to standard operating procedures and work instructions within assigned area in order to achieve product quality, ensure continuous assembly line operations Monitor availability as well as control inventory and cost of spare parts to optimize production machine/jigs/fixtures Machine Spare Parts Inventory Control. Prepare production machines/jigs/fixtures prior to start-up of operations. Stop the line in case of abnormal situation. Makes the necesssary controls on the equipment to ensure that quality is at standard level prior to turnover to production after repair. Install and set-up new production machines/jigs/fixtures and tooling according to plant management directions and strategies. Performs procurement of machines/jigs/fixtures needed for new products and projects Performs set-up and line machine qualifications as per product specification or requirement Monitor performance of production machines including related tooling, jigs, and fixtures toachieve product quality. Perform full diagnosis, including information from Autonomous Operator, during Jidoka (Quality Stop) and/or troubleshooting activities during production machine equipment breakdown. Makes the necesssary controls on the equipment to ensure that quality is at standard level prior to turnover to production after repair. Train subordinates/maintenance and process technicians Continue coaching subordinates in technical projects and/or activities such as implementation of Autonomous Maintenance and Systematic Maintenance to optimize maintenance work, improve maintenance procedures and achieve maintenance-related KPI's/targets (e.g., Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE). Through cross-functional team, utilize various problem solving methods, tools and techniques (e.g., 5-Why, Cause and Effect, Fishbone Diagram, 8D, DMAIC, etc.) to resolve problems towards permanent corrective action. Continues to participate for Lessons Learned session and open to new ideas for innovative approach Implement and maintain 5S in own work area and on production machine/jigs/fixtures during and after troubleshooting and repair. Collaborate with other departments (e.g., production, quality, etc.) as needed in relation to improvement activities, standard work, workplace design, continuous flow, visual management as well as support predictive quality. .
