MAINTENANCE ENGINEER / SAFETY OFFICER (PCO)
 
Main Job Function:
Ensures health and occupational measures are properly implemented in the plant.
Ensures equipment, machineries, and facilities are in good condition.
Ensures to attend Plant environment registration requirements.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinates all health and safety training programs for the employees and employer.
Conducts health and safety inspection as member of the committee.
Maintains or helps in the maintenance of an efficient accident record system and coordinates actions taken by supervisors to eliminate accident causes.
Provides assistance to government agencies in the conduct of safety and health inspection, accident investigation or any other related programs.
Provides monthly updates to the HRD Supervisor on health hazards/unsafe practices.
Ensures implementation of preventive maintenance schedule.
Monthly generation of Preventive Maintenance procedure checklist of all machines, equipment and facilities.
Facilitate environmental compliance of the Plant.
Supervise the proper orientation and maintenance of pollution control facilities of the Plant.
Attend the meetings for Pollution Control Officers which may from time to time be called by the Authority.
Handle other matters of environmental concerns.
SECONDARY DUTIES
Ensures that existing Company Rules and Regulations, Core Values, Safety, and Standard Operating Procedures are being implemented at all times.
Participate in company productivity programs such as SGA and QCC.
Observe/conducts cleanliness and 5S housekeeping in the workplace in compliance to the Health and Safety Standards set by the company.
Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
At least a minimum of 1- 2 years' experience as Maintenance Engineer.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
