Job Description
Knowledgeable on basic industrial electricity, magnetic contactors, c-breakers, ohmmeter, relays, 3 phase indicator, motors, and pneumatic system of plants. Must have a background on automotive electricity and heavy equipment electrical.
Inspect on routine basis electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures and other components to ensure they remain functional and are up to code, as well as to identify any hazards or issues.
Determine the reasons for any malfunctions or systems or components, and create a maintenance or repair plan to solve the problem.
Repair and troubleshoot electrical systems, wiring, circuit breakers, equipment and other components so that they remain at full functioning capacity.
Tests systems with devices such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes and ohmmeters to ensure the system remains safe and that components are compatible.
Review blueprints to understand the placement of wiring or to comprehend the working of the equipment to provide the right service and repairs.
Provide suggestions on the lifespan of equipment and other electrical components, advising when certain components should be replaced due to potential risks.
Keep records of all maintenance and repair work conducted, including a record of any supplies ordered and used.
Ensure all routine maintenance work is handled on a regular schedule to reduce the risk of larger and more complex issues and to reduce costs.
Perform duties related to the operation and maintenance of both surface and underground tool cribs.
Main area assignment is batching plant including plant maintenance which is not related to electrical like solenoids, air cylinder and oil check on induction motor gearbox.
Must be available during operation hours of plant, especially during night operation, Sundays and holidays, must be available anytime for service and equipment rescue outside plant or site projects.
Willing to be trained as Batching Plant Operator and perform similar and related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate from Technical / Vocational Course / Electrician/ TESDA related to the job
With at least 1-2 years of experience as Electrician Maintenance Technician
With driver's license
