MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT
 
Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance and repair tasks throughout the facility, including but not limited to carpentry, masonry, and painting work
Conduct routine inspections of building systems and equipment to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns
Repair and replace damaged facilities
Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance problems in a timely manner
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines
Assist other maintenance staff as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school graduates are welcome to apply
Minimum of two years of experience in related work
Strong knowledge and skills in carpentry, masonry, and painting techniques
Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
Ability to read and interpret (plans)
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects
