Job Description
Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, startup etc.) to start a production cycle. Control and adjust machine settings wherever and whenever required.
Operate machine according to instructions. Plan and feed raw materials whenever required. Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools. Test operation of machines periodically
Fix any issues that might occur during the shift. Inspect final product on line for any quality non conformances. Keep records of approved and defective units or final products. Maintain activity logs and production records.
Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor. Comply all safety and health regulations. Clean machines and maintain cleanliness in work area.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
5+ Experience in PET extruder operator Basic understanding of Extrusion process and attention to details. Ability to work and communicate with others. Experience with SML extrusion is an added advantage.
Ability to lift bend and stand or walk for long periods of time. Willingness to work in shifts (late or early hours, weekends and overtime if necessary.)
