Responsibilities
Principal Accountabilities (The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations.): * Oversee planning and scheduling of customer and interplant shipments * Assure scheduling of all inbound shipments to minimize product flow within the Distribution Network * Investigate site caused cuts and the processing of PCN's for and OSB/OMS discrepancies * Assure that AutoScheduler is ran daily to ensure that all finished product required for outbound shipments is within the correct Warehouse for the shipment * Research all additional charges form carriers for validation prior to payment approval * Management of short brands to ensure that all appropriate cuts and subs are communicated to Operations * Assist Operations in assigning trailers to outbound loads * Work with carriers to make sure all necessary equipment is on site prior to the outbound shipment * Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm * Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person, on the phone, electronically, or through other means to individuals and groups * Other duties as assigned The individual in this position must be capable of performing all of the essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation. ...
