About the Job
This position will thrive in a challenging and fast-paced environment working with members of the Philippine WPL team, Planning Organization, and the MRP teams in the manufacturing organization at TI. This role is expected to deliver both strategic and tactical supply chain logistics support in the management of inventory and analytics on supply replenishment.
The role requires an in depth understanding of supply and demand cycles of a manufacturing environment. This also pertains to an understanding of the ordering process of materials for production from demand up to delivery. Furthermore, this position offers a great opportunity to work closely with different supply chain teams and professionals in executing tactical and strategic plans of keeping-up with the supply requirements of the manufacturing site.
Qualified candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related business degree and a minimum of 3-5 years of related supply chain experience are required. He/She should have a demonstrated ability to translate business acumen to supply chain strategies and analytics, and must have a proven track record of driving for results. The candidate must demonstrate compelling communication skills that engage effectively with individuals, teams and large groups, both in writing and verbally.
This person should thrive in a team environment, working collaboratively with others and being able to influence and gain commitment for their ideas. A track record for navigating ambiguous situations and being able to facilitate change is also important. Also, this person must have desirable knowledge of inventory cycles, MRP, data analytics, supply order processing, and forecasting.
Required Basic Qualifications:
5 years related experience; minimum 3 years required
Bachelor's Degree in industrial engineering, engineering management, or similar course.
Knowledge of the high-tech or semiconductor industries are preferred, but not required
Fluency in English
Direct experience working with all levels of an organization
Advance user skill on Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Ability to influence without authority, coaching, facilitation, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Analytical approach to problem solving
Required Core Competencies:
Inventory Trend Analysis: Gather data tables from available sources and process the data through analytical models. Review and critic the results, and spot trends leading toward overstock or under stock situations. Provide advice for remedial actions to effectively manage inventory levels of inactive stocks or over-withdrawn stocks through adjustments in model parameters that impact the supply chain.
Demand-Supply Relationships: Have the business acumen to correlate the degree of changes in demand and supply relationship using forecasting and MRP models. Can immediately estimate the impact to inventory through simulative/sensitivity analysis when the demand or supply behavior changes. Has an in depth understanding of how changes in expected output converge to supply input requirements that support the manufacturing line.
Team and People Skills: Change agent. Must be mature, flexible, fast-paced and resilient. Must be a self-starter and possess a can-do attitude. Strong interpersonal skills required. Must perform well within a team and enable teammates to achieve their goals while maintaining own responsibilities. Share relevant information freely. Identify and resolve conflicts. Must be able to work effectively across functions and organizations. Ability to understand audiences' care abouts. Quick and proactive; ability to deal with ambiguous situations. Problem solver - creative solutions, good instinct.
Information Packaging: Strategic communication through the effective use of correct graphical information format. Knows how and when to use different type of charts in order to convey the message accurately and concisely. The presentation of thought and information must be clear in order to give focus on the important items that have high impact to the organization and business operations.
