Job Description
Logistics Supervisors oversee the planning, organization and implantation of systems designed to receive, store and supply merchandise or products.
Schedule deliveries and pickups with transportation companies or internal staff
Manage a warehouse stock inventory based on predicted requirements
Oversee and supervise logistics personnel
Use computer systems to monitor performance levels and quality control
Ensure compliance with health and safety and other legal requirements
Use predictions to allocate staff according to need
Qualifications:
at least 3 years of experience as a Logistics Supervisor or similar role
Knowledge and experience with methods for process re-engineering.
Ability to manage inventory
Ability to analyze data and provide insights from data
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Team player
Good time-management skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or relevant fields.
