LOGISTICS SUPERVISOR
 
Job Responsibilities:
Supervises the day-to-day operations of the Logistics section
Coordinates schedule of shipments, warehousing and delivery of stocks
Ensures fulfillment of all purchasing and logistical requirements of the Company according to approved standards and time schedule
Ensures that all projects and activities of the Logistics department comply with safety standards and company approved procedures
Liaises with shipment partners and suppliers to enhance operational efficiency
Performs canvassing, or competitive bidding of materials from suppliers, subcontractors and service providers
Records and analyzes purchasing activities to ensure stock availability and reduce shipment cost
Prepares daily, weekly and monthly transaction reports for verification of accounting and for Management’s use
Job Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any business-related course
With at least 2 years of work experience specializing in Logistics or Supply Chain management
Excellent process orientation skills with good verbal and written communication ability
With multi-tasking flexibility; results-oriented and works with less supervision
Honest, trustworthy, and an excellent team player
Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Access is an advantage
