Job Summary:
 
The Logistics Officer in Charge is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all logistics and supply chain operations to ensure efficient movement, storage, and distribution of goods. The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage logistics staff, vendors, and inventory while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution
Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery
Manage inventory levels, stock control, and warehouse organization
Supervise and train logistics staff and drivers
Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and service providers
Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and legal regulations
Prepare logistics reports, forecasts, and performance metrics
Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency
Handle logistics-related issues and resolve operational challenges promptly
Support E-commerce logistics, including delivery tracking
Manage balikbayan box operations, including consolidation, documentation, customs coordination, and international shipping timelines
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 1+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations
Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role
Strong knowledge of logistics processes, inventory management, and transportation
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office tools
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills:
Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems
Knowledge of import/export regulations
Strong analytical and decision-making skills
