WAREHOUSING OPERATIONS
Identifies raw mats, incubation and finished goods warehousing and other logistical requirements of BU
Recommends LSPs (input)
Sources qualified LSPs
Sources for additional warehousing space and warehouse providers (external), where required
Ensures compliance of warehouse service provider to contracted Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and conducts regular operations checkpoint meetings to review performance against expectations.
Ensures compliance of warehouse service provider to all legal and government regulations, practices and laws.
Coordinates with warehouse providers on operational expectations for the coming weeks in terms of sales skewing, volume targets, expected operational load, expected performance targets, expected transportation requirements, etc.
Regularly conducts in-house audits on basic GWP and cascades findings with the warehouse team. Develops action plans to improve the quality of the physical site together with the warehouse provider.
Ensures accuracy of inventories within the warehouse (Physical Stock vs. SAP System Balance) through the implementation of cycle counting activities, reconciliation of system imbalances and recommends inventory adjustments where required.
Plans movemement of raw mats and finished goods from overflow warehouses (c/o BU Supply Planning)

Warehouse replenishment planning for finished goods
Monitors compliance of IRA and ensures correct implementation of IRA guidelines, cycle counts
Provides stocks allocation and dispatch priorities/loading sequence; receiving priorities
Prepares and downloads distribution plan per shipping point
Executes replenishment and distribution plan
Coordinates with Sales on stocks and deliveries when there are exceptions
Coordinates with SCPG and production for stocks availability including importations of traded goods for warehouse and transport requirements (inbound hauling)
Executes materials movement as agreed with SCPG
Raw Materials Warehouse Operations
Warehouse Management
- Receiving of raw materials from suppliers (Imported or Local).
- Collection of samples for QA evaluation.
- Tagging, palletizing, and storing of all raw materials received.
- Encoding of each delivery transaction in SAP.
- Provide accurate inventory on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Issuance
- Transfer of raw materials to production area
- Transfer of raw materials to Toll Packers.
- Order filling and loading of raw materials.
- Coordinates with BU QA on dispositions

- Ensure proper cleaning, sanitation, and pest control of warehouses

TRANSPORTATION
Sources for transport service providers for hauling/inter warehouse transfers and delivery to customers
Works with the Logistics provider to formulate a route plan to serve the next two days' orders and requirements.
Monitors On-Time Delivery metrics of transport providers.
Ensures readiness of TMS where applicable and management of the same
Monitors load factor and other key transport budget assumptions and ensures that these are aligned with budget expectations.
Setting of budget distribution cost and supporting KPIs like load factor
Monthly review of distribution costs and related KPIs
Provide daily reports on load factor, theoretical distribution costs and routes per truck type
TRADE RETURNS MANAGEMENT
Plans trade returns
Pulls out trade returns from accounts and stores/disposes accordingly
PLANNING
Plans warehouse storage capacities based on approved long term plan volumes (plant)
Established KPIs, targets, SLAs for all LSPs for warehousing, inventory management, distribution
Plans and establishes transportation requirements for all truck types - frozen, chilled and dry, in anticipation of any changes in volume.
Computes warehouse space and transportation requirements
Plans warehouse storage capacities based on approved long term plan volumes (external)
Handles the review and determination of service rates
Coordinates with BPG on sourcing and negotiations with new or existing warehouse and transport providers.
Monitors status of documentation and accreditation of new warehouse and transport providers and ensures that these providers are accredited on time.
Ensures the submission of agreed operational reports on time - warehouse utilization (daily), throughput volumes, cycle count results (daily), on time delivery, etc.
Reviews, studies continuous operational efficiencies, cost and process improvements
Plans for replenishments of inventories based on forecasts, actual historical product movements, space availability and shipping schedules.
Coordinates with Depot group on the planned shipments, volume and estimated arrival of stocks
Formulates optimal stock replenishment scheme for all logistics centers
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
Manages stock inventory levels across all sites and compares against forecast and run rates
Analyzes inventory behavior per distribution sites and recommends inventory levels, DTLs
Reviews aging profile and inventory classification per distribution site
Plans and manages inventory counts for all sites nationwide to adhere with cycle counts
Leads and monitors the inventory reconciliation process to meet target KPIs on inventory accuracy
Monitors stock aging and coordinates with stakeholders for interventions, thus, minimizing downgrades and write offs
Monitors IRA compliance
Ensures compliance to FEFO
Monitors quantity, freshness and movement
Ensures readiness of WMS per site and management of the same
Provides inventory reports as required by BU
COST MANAGEMENT/ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS
Coordinates with Finance and SSC and monitors status of warehouse provider and trucker billings and payments.
Monitors costs per site and compares actuals vs. budgeted costs.
Develops cost saving and productivity initiatives for operations in order to meet cost/kg targets for BBC Logistics.
CUSTOMER LOGISTICS
Liases between Supply Chain Teams, SMIS and trade customers
Aligns customer expectations/KPIs with Supply Chain; meets with key trade customers on logisitcs service level expectations and aligns with SMF counterparts
Coordinates with SMIS counterparts on orders and delivery status of modern trade and distributor accounts
Handles security issues for PPFB Logistics pertaining to theft and pilferage related incidents from SMIS and customers; works with concerned parties involved and recommends courses of action from logistics point of view
Handles updates on government regulations affecting warehousing and delivery of services to trade
