Logistics Development Executive
Main purpose of the job - To plan, manage and control the efficient performance and delivery of Logistics Efficiency & System-Related projects in accordance with Supply Chain Priorities, Objectives and Standards.
Key Output:
Project Management (A/B)
- Ensures projects are planned, executed and managed effectively with pre-agreed deadlines
- Directs the coordination of all projects with all involved stakeholders
- Ensures all standards and requirements are in place in relation to operations, safety and quality
- Ensures alignment of all projects to the market network strategy
System and Best Practices (A)
- Supports all sites (DC, Factory, Co-Man) on Materials Handling Best Practices & System Set-up (SAP configuration needed to meet the markets business requirements).
- Drives improvement to MH practices by identifying/recommending System solutions or other relevant tools and ensures full implementation.
- Coordinates & participates in cross stream integration. Serves as Level 1 support for any system related issues / concerns.
- Collaborates with Local IT Team on any MH Development & Executes Acceptance Testing of new SAP Developments.
- Be the hub of latest trends on MH Practices, Warehousing Strategies and Techniques.
- Develops and Certifies new Materials Handling Super Users.
- Ensures MH end-users are compliant with Standard Role Allocation taking into consideration Segregation of Duty.
- Ensures BCP (Business Continuity Plan) are in place
Management of Logistics Performance & Continuous Improvements (B)
- Champions Logistics Policies and Procedures in line with the improvement projects/changes implemented by the organization and ensures all sites are in compliance with the set rules and standards.
- Designs KPI tool or Dashboard to drive continuous improvement through gap analysis.
- Ensures Completeness & Integrity of Logistics Dashboards regularly discussed during Operations Reviews.
- Drives Operational Master Planning and Ideation Workshop to generate cost savings initiatives
- Provides support to cross-functional stakeholders on projects which would involve Logistics Operations & Network changes
- Benchmarks new technology / best practices from other markets that can help improve local Logistics Operations
- Drive Automation and Digitalization for the function
Facilities and Structures (A)
- Assists all Sites (DC, Factory, Co-Man) Operations in managing improvement/ maintenance works with regards to Facilities, Material Handling Equipment and Racking System.
- Assesses and recommends concepts / improvements on the facilities and structures regarding warehousing of customers (Distributors, Key Accounts), Factories and Co-manufacturers.
- Drives continuous improvement on existing facilities for a more safe, hygienic and operationally sound environment.
