Logistics Associate Job Description
Job Summary
Responsible for providing support to the Logistics Officer for effectively managing the various functional activities of the Logistics Department covering the areas of daily delivery monitoring, delivery inquiry handling, and fleet & team performance management.
Job Description
Assist in monitoring deliveries and coordinating with Sales and clients about delivery inquiries
Prepare all necessary documents for dispatching, making sure all are accurate
Update and maintain Delivery Disposition Report
Ensure Logistics team properly executes all collections instructions from deliveries
Assist in managing and monitoring fleet performance
Ensure proper documentation of delivery receipts
Performs other related work that may be assigned
Schedule of Work
Mondays to Fridays, 10pm to 8:36am - entitled to overtime pay
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in Logistics preferred, but work experience will also be considered
At least 1 year of experience in a similar role is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook etc.)
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Self-starter but able to take direction, ability to work both independently and as a team player
Attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong ethics and a high level of personal and professional integrity.
