The Logistician oversees and provides technical and operational support to all logistics for the Iligan sub-site, while ensuring compliance with ICRC logistics procedures and all government regulations. S/he independently handles purchasing files above a set financial threshold.
MAIN TASKS
Supervises and manages 10 logistics staff in Iligan sub-site
Oversees all logistics files (order management, purchasing, warehousing, import/export, transport, and reporting)
Ensures all requests are fulfilled within a reasonable time frame and in compliance with ICRC procedures and all government regulations
Provides guidance to stakeholders regarding purchasing policies, guidelines, and procedures
Provides support to Mindanao logistics teams as needed
Ensures all Logistics transactions are monitored in timely manner.

REQUIRED PROFILE
A successful candidate will have:
Bachelor's degree in business, systems engineering, supply chain management, or other related fields
At least 3 years' professional experience in logistics
Good command of written and spoken English
Excellent computer literacy (Word, Excel)
A successful candidate may have:
Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations is a plus
Proficiency in the use of JDE or equivalent ERP software
Strong background in purchasing and import / export is a plus
Demonstrated ability to work under high-stress and in conflict areas
