Job Description
In charge of all inventory of in and out of the business includes all timber, both local and imported and all the stock in the store room.
Prepare a Delivery Schedule each afternoon for the following days deliveries for each driver- Liaising with Operations Manager and Cashier to make sure all deliveries are made in a coordinated and timely manner.
Keep Tally Sheet and prepare Payment Sheets for all local timber purchases.
Keep track of all Freight paid and Advances on Local timber purchases and make sure they are deducted from final payment.
Liaise with timber cutters in the islands to maintain and facilitate the supply of local timbers.
Maintain and order essential items making sure these items are replaced in a timely fashion.
Control all stock items and make sure they are only given to the appropriate staff members in the approved procedures.
Assist in maintaining the tidiness and cleanliness of office and surrounds.
Make sure the time cards for all staff are clocked in and out and complete the fortnightly summary sheets to assist the A/c clerk preparing the wages.
Make sure vehicle records are kept up to date and each vehicle is serviced as per the service schedule.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
Should have knowledge in deliveries, inventory and stock management.
Should have admin experience including clerical and office jobs.
Knowledgeable in Microsoft office.
With good English communications skills.
