Job description
Main Function:
Logistics Officer oversees the movement, distribution and storage of materials in an organization. S/he controls the flow of incoming materials and outgoing finished products to ensure customers receive products on time. Oversee warehouse, inventory control, material handling, customer service, transportation and planning workers. They hire, train and evaluate employees. Officer prepares worker schedule and ensure warehousing and distribution workers follow safety rules. S/he may prepare reports for upper management; negotiate shipping and supplier costs, and work to improve the efficiency of the company's supply chain.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects.
Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
Make adjustments and minor repairs.
Stock and maintain supply rooms.
Cooperate with the rest of the staff.
Follow all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Graduate of BS in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or any related field.
Knowledgeable in distribution and logistics management.
At least 1 year experience.
Can demonstrate ability to lead and manage staff.
Proficient in standard logistics software.
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
Willing to be assigned in Trece Martires, Cavite.
