Job Description
Bending and installing cable routes according to the drawing
Installation of secondary routes
Electrode welding of cable routing brackets
Assistance in removing of slag, metal cutting with a grinder
Compliance with established quality standards (on-site training)
Daily reporting on the work carried out
Depending on the quality of the work, the possibility of leading a team (2, 4, 6 people)
Qualifications:
A minimum of 1 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering(Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or similar fields.
Reading and understanding of the drawings (scaling, recognition and estimation of other engineering systems, positioning of the equipment etc.)
Use measuring instruments to measure the positions of cable trays and supports for the equipment to be installed according the drawings
Design and manufacture of non-standard metal products (cable tray holders, supports for equipment etc.)
Minimum skills in working with angle bars and flat bars: cutting with the metal grinder, grinding of the cut metal, accurate drilling of holes in a designed place.
The ability to manufacture simple parts (holders for cable trays, supports for different type of equipment like fire detectors) according the drawings
Ability to cut and bend metal cable trays, both vertically and horizontally, bending the corners and cutting or welding the necessary additional parts.
Experience in welding with electrodes and Semi-Automatic Welding Machines
Skills in welding of different types of joints: butt, corner, edge, lap, tee.
Experience in Gas cutting, and stud welding
