Responsible for customer IT support and local hands-on software, applications, and hardware maintenance
Prioritizes and diagnoses incidents according to agreed procedures
Investigates causes of incidents and seeks resolution
Support on-site customers
Act as first-point-of-contact for local issues with hardware devices and software
Provide technical support by performing installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of local software and hardware
Troubleshoot local software and hardware failures and identifies related network problems
Improve the local technical operating environment
Covers the local IT supplier management
Qualifications
3+ years experience with various hardware and software components, 3+ years experience with networks and network components
Good communication in English (both oral and written)
Strong customer orientation
Detail oriented, very good attention to details
Able to use tact and diplomacy when dealing with various users and customers in person
Good general IT technical know-how, functional know-how as needed/relevant
Very good sense of how to deal with urgent situations/issues
Very good troubleshooting skills, logical thinking
General awareness of the latest IT technology, up-to-date knowledge of the latest software trends specially in the BPO industry
General understanding of network operations and network components
General understanding of Data Center operations, its requirements and components
