LOAN PROCESSOR- CASHIER
Job Overview: We are currently seeking a meticulous and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Loan Processor with Cash Handling responsibilities. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth processing of loans and the efficient management of cash transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Loan Processing:
Review loan applications and supporting documents to assess eligibility and compliance with company policies.
Communicate with clients to gather additional information and clarify details as needed.
Coordinate with other internal teams to expedite the loan approval process.
Cash Acceptance and Release:
Handle cash transactions accurately and securely, following established procedures and protocols.
Process loan disbursements and ensure timely release of funds to approved borrowers.
Maintain proper documentation and records of cash transactions in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service to clients, addressing inquiries, and concerns related to loan processing and cash transactions.
Assist clients in understanding loan terms, repayment schedules, and other relevant information.
Compliance and Reporting:
Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and internal policies governing loan processing and cash handling.
Generate reports on loan activities, cash transactions, and other relevant metrics as required.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in loan processing or a similar financial role is preferred.
Familiarity with cash handling procedures and principles of financial transactions.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Work Metrics:
Timely processing of loan applications and disbursements.
Accurate handling and recording of cash transactions.
Positive feedback from clients on service quality and responsiveness.
Compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
