Loan backer(Anywhere)

Job Description:
- Advise the client about the risks, consequences, and benefits of alternative lending solutions.
- Communicate with applicants to identify their needs and obtain necessary information for purposes of loan applications.
- Analyze the financial status of a loan applicant including credit history, debt-to-income ratio, and appraisal reports, etc.
- Preparation of a detailed loan proposal.
- Review loan agreements and ensure the accuracy of each according to the policy.
- Calculate and monitor payment schedules to ensure timely payment.
- Prepare and submit accurate loan files in a timely manner.
- Maintain detailed records on all transactions executed on a daily basis.
- Guide both client and loan applicants by addressing any concerns/inquiries/requests that may arise.
- Petition courts to transfer titles and deeds of collateral to banks.
- Confer with underwriters to aid in resolving mortgage application problems.
- Maintain loan information in the strictest confidence.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of proven working experience as a Loan Officer.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and ability to use relevant industry-specific computer programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skill.
- High attention to detail and high levels of integrity.
