Job Summary:
1. Supports FHP in designing, development and implementation of community-based Livelihood programs.
2. Provides technical training and support to livelihood officers in promoting Livelihood activities in the community for their adoption and practice, based on needs assessment
3. Contributes to the contextualization of relevant manuals from the global office
4. Prepares and updates Livelihood Reports
5. Sets up and implements reporting system and monitoring system for Livelihood in coordination with RM and M&E Officer.
6. Ensures that the field offices comply with FH standards of Livelihood.
7. Ensures that Livelihood indicators are implemented and achieved in the projects initiated by the community
8. Prepares Livelihood Proposals in coordination with the Regional Manager; and supports FHP and RD team in seeking funding opportunities and preparation of proposals. These may include; identifying/referring funding sources, providing input in other proposals. Capacity Building for Livelihood staff and communities
9. Provides and/or conducts technical training and support to all Livelihood Field Staff and Volunteers for effective implementation of livelihood activities.
10. Provides guidance, validates and supports the conduct of Savings Groups' and Livelihood focals' meetings in the communities.
