Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Live Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide real-time documentation support to healthcare providers during patient encounters, ensuring accurate, thorough, and timely medical records. This role allows clinicians to focus on patient care while maintaining high-quality clinical documentation.Key Responsibilities:
Document patient encounters in real-time during virtual or in-person consultations.
Accurately record patient histories, physical exams, assessments, plans, and other relevant information as dictated by the provider.
Review and update the electronic health record (EHR) to ensure all entries are complete and compliant with documentation standards.
Track lab results, imaging, and follow-up appointments as requested by the provider.
Assist in managing provider schedules, order entry (if applicable), and patient communications.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations at all times.
Collaborate effectively with the clinical team to ensure smooth workflow and accurate data entry.
RequirementsQualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in a health-related field preferred (e.g., Nursing, Biology, Health Sciences).Experience:
Minimum of 1 year experience as a live medical scribe - required
Well versed in navigating EMR/EHR systems
Experience in primary care, cardiology, orthopedic, neurology, women's care is highly preferred.
Skills:
Strong medical terminology knowledge.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy under pressure.
Ability to multitask and follow provider instructions precisely.
