Position Title: Link Builder
Classification: Digital Media Marketing Agent
Salary Grade: 18,000 - 25,000 PHP / month
Reports To: Digital Media Marketing Manager
Primary Relationships: Marketing Department
Date: August 2022
Schedule: Day Shift, 9am to 6pm
Background:
The Link Builder must be charismatic and willing to be trained in different strategies in reaching
out and building relationships with potential linking opportunities. They are outgoing and therefore will be great with outbound calls, emails and social media outreach, while also being collaborative with technical and creative marketing teams. They are really the rock star of any SEO team and serve a very important role.
Responsibilities:
Research and obtain competitor links.
Find new places where we can post content like blogs, articles, sponsored content and more. * Negotiate link exchanges with relevant websites and our internal network of websites
Find places to outright buy links and manage link buying budgets.
Join SEO forums so you can network with other link builders and webmasters to find new opportunities. * Using the newest automated link building tools to build links to your links.
Build and manage a link wheel that passes link juice in a white hat, compliant manner.
Work with content managers and other content producers to procure content that can be used in your link building strategy.
Create listings in business directories with unique descriptions and backlinks.
Always monitor and increase the backlinks pointing to our money sites.
Technical Qualifications:
Proficient in communication and sales skills.
Degree in Marketing, Communications, IT or any related field.
An eye for the latest online trends.
General knowledge and interest in SEO.
Familiar with keyword research and implementation.
Proficient with project management software.
Knowledge of tracking progress of rankings in Google Analytics is a plus.
Strong sense of ownership and determination to get things done, with humility and eagerness to learn and grow with a hands-on mindset.
