Bring immediately to the attention of the Fleet Supervisor for cases of truck shortage due to mechanical problem and other related reasons. 4. Be able to anticipate and coordinate for back up and/or additional truck requirements even in short notice or due to last minute changes in coordination with Fleet team. 5. Conduct daily briefing of drivers and helpers to keep them reminded of the standard operating procedure. 6. Maintain the safety of shipments by ensuring trucks are secured with padlocks and security seal. 7. Join the monthly performance meeting of trucking operators conducted by Fleet team to discuss shuttling issues and to keep truckers reminded of procedures and new updates on LHS operations. 8. Work hand-in-hand with the sort loader/checker to ensure on time and error-free loading. 9. Implement contingency action in cases of dispatching glitches such as but not limited to truck shortage, crew not in proper uniform, truck breaks down while in transit to delivery site, etc. 10. Ensure availability of back up shuttles as contingency. 11. Close monitoring of shuttles locations and delivery status for posting of dispatch and delivery arrival update report by Shuttling Coordinator. 12. Work closely with the Airport Processor for the required truck type, timing of transfer and recovery of shipments to and from the cargo port terminal. 13. Remind the trucker to always do 100% inspection of cargo for recovery and report for any possible damage or any discrepancy. 14. Ensure all deliveries are properly received on Dispatch Monitoring with name/signature of the hub receiver including date proof of delivery receipt. 15. Check the quantity and condition of the empty mobile units (sack & cage) being returned by shuttle crew. 16. Sign the shuttles trip ticket as proof that particular trips is official and good for payment by Finance. Responsible in coordinating with subcontractors for adequate truck allocation and ensuring on time loading and arrival of deliveries to hubs and transfer of line-haul shipments to cargo port terminal for acceptance and loading. Making sure all deliveries, transfer and recovery of parcels are properly documented and covered with proof of delivery. Immediately report any untoward incident involving LEX shipments to Shuttling Supervisor and Line-haul Senior Supervisor. Must be able to work with all levels of the organization vendors, customers, local and foreign counterparts. With clear and effective communication and understanding in English and Filipino. Job Requirements . With at least three (3) years working experience in transport operations as Dispatcher. Having experience and knowledge on pick-up and delivery of shipments for airfreight, sea freight and multi-modal (roro) familiarity with routes and must be time sensitive. .
