Job Overview:
The Licensed Chemist is responsible for conducting chemical and microbiological analyses to ensure the quality, safety, and compliance of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods. This role involves maintaining adherence to food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). The Licensed Chemist also plays a key role in troubleshooting quality issues, improving formulations, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations such as FDA, HACCP, and GMP.
 
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry
Licenses & Certifications:
Must be a Licensed Chemist, accredited by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
Experience:
With at least 1 year of experience in food manufacturing, quality control, or food safety preferred.
Fresh graduates with a license are also encouraged to apply.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of food chemistry, additives, and preservatives.
Familiarity with regulatory standards (FDA, GMP, HACCP, ISO 9001:2015, etc.).
Proficiency in laboratory testing and instrumentation.
Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
