Job Description a. Supervises and manages the school library/media center.
b. Provides services and resources that allow students to develop skills in locating, evaluating, synthesizing, and using information to solve problems.
c. Serves as teacher, materials expert, and curriculum adviser to ensure that the library/media center is involved in instructional programs of the school.
d. Provides group instruction and individual guidance to students to help them locate resources and use research techniques.
e. Serves as an information resource for users of library/media center materials.
f. Initiates and implements library programs and activities that promote use of resources and encourages love for reading.
g. Performs preparatory tasks involved in the acquisition of new library resources such as encoding, printing of barcode labels, processing and proper dissemination of booklists and bulletins.
h. Prepares budget for acquisition of library materials and collections.
i. Prepares and keeps statistical records in the use of LRC resources.
Job Qualifications a. must be a Registered Librarian
b. with a minimum of two years of experience in library/media center in school setting
c. knowledgeable in library science
Compensation 22000
Compensation Range ₱20,000 - ₱30,000
