Description
The Librarian's primary responsibility is to cater to the information and research needs of staff, faculty and students of the Asian Institute of Management by providing on-site and online access to sources of information and services at the Knowledge Resource Center.

Professional Qualification
Registered Librarian (R.A. 9246)
Education
Licensed librarian (R.A. 9246) and Masters' Degree in Library and Information Science (LIS) or other allied fields.
Minimum Experience
1 year of work experience in a library setting.
Business Understanding
Functional areas of reference service, marketing, and public relations.
Provides access to information sources, including the library's collection and various research databases; and maintains the library's collection.
Participates actively in partnerships, linkages, and consortia to support the information needs of the stakeholders.
Develops and implements strategies to increase the stakeholders' awareness and usage of library facilities, services, processes, and policies; and promotes information literacy, research skills to the stakeholders.
Collects and reports a variety of statistical data and summarizes findings in applicable formats.
Monitors the institute's for sale book publications.
Performs other related tasks.
