Description
Basic Qualifications:
• Must be a graduate of BS Law / Legal Management or any related course.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• With knowledge of Philippine Labor Law, documentation, and HR-related works.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Willing to work in Pasig City.
• To start immediately.
The legal Officer will be responsible for the following:
1) Ensure business activities are conducted to comply with all Philippine Laws, internal rules and regulations, policies, and the like.
2) Review all contracts and/or agreements entered by the company and provide advice and/or suggest amendments, revisions, and the like.
3) Coordinates directly with the client on any ambiguity to the service contracts clause and resolves any legal impediments that may be associated therein.
4) Solve and follow up on issues concerning legal queries to ensure that the best possible service can be offered to other departments.
5) Draft contracts, policies, legal correspondences, and the like.
6) Do contract/pleading review and preparation tasks in aid of the Company's Legal Counsel.
7) Provide paralegal work in terms of the conduct of in-depth legal research and rendition of legal opinion whether verbal or in writing, upon request and/or directives from the Chairman and President.
8) assists in the performance by the Company's Assistant Corporate Secretary of the latter's functions and duties.
9) Conduct training on legal matters.
10) Stay informed about professional knowledge and technical skills in the area of Legal to maximize your professional knowledge and to apply it within the organization in the best possible manner.
