QUALIFICATIONS Degree in a program of study related to Human Resources, Business Management, Sociology, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology Degree in Law is preferred With at least 3 years experience as Legal Supervisor or equivalent Expertise in Employee Relations and litigation Leadership and industry certifications will be an advantage KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES Understands office management procedures and control. Wide knowledge of different HR policies and methods to implement them. Knowledge of Philippine Labor Laws employment policies and regulations. Knowledge of Philippine Government mandatories' policies and regulations Has a passion for working with diverse group of people and analytical in solving problems. Interpersonal skills to work as a counselor, mediator, and connector between the workforce and management. Problem-solving skills to devise solutions to issues that arise or may arise in the workplace. Excellent organizational skills and attention to details. Analytical skills to be able to assess situations and make accurate workplace observations Good problem solving ability. Exemplifies customer service skills Responsible and result - oriented Team player DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide legal assistance to Human resources team for employment matters and contract drafting for employment and other relating matters. To act as an owner of company's IP assets such as trademarks, copyrights, patents, brand names (registrations & renewals). Prepare & coordinate with HQ Legal on notices to clients, employees, filing of legal or civil case against erring employees. Coordination with HQ Legal / liaison to Local Government agencies. Provide Counsel and Assistance to other Departments for business and employment compliances Contractual, legal and regulatory obligations and Provide Counsel, Assistance and Support in creation of structures and environment for ethical and legal compliances and support enforcement of HQ compliance policies that are applicable across regions KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Overall monitoring of the performance of the Legal Unit.
