Legal Manager
Summary:
To provide general operations and human resource legal support to its Alabang operations center. This position will report to the Legal Director.
General Responsibilities:
A subject matter expert in Labor Relations and consultant to operations in internal processes, policies and procedures that may have legal implications.
Acts as advisor to people managers in regard to their management and provides solutions to their current concerns
In charge of managing all cases filed by and against the company
In-charge of all the facets of Labor Relations and Employee Relations
Cascades policies and procedures
Conduct learning sessions on Labor Relations updates
Ensures compliance of the Company to all DOLE annual reportorial requirements
Provides legal advisory services on administrative cases as needed
Drafts and prepares employment contracts
Drafts contracts, deeds and other legal documents
Drafts and prepares Legal Opinions, Contract Reviews and Memoranda
Prepares demand letters and other correspondences
Prepares and files Complaint and other forms of Affidavits
Prepares and drafts Company Policies and other related documents
Prepares administrative reports and profile of associates
Answers queries on labor related issues
Review the company's Guidelines on Work Station and Internet Usage
Review the company's policy on Resignation
Attends NLRC mandatory hearings and mediation conferences
Settles NLRC cases
Basic Qualifications:
Must be a member of the Philippine Bar for at least 5 years
Must have litigation and corporate experience
Preferred Qualifications:
5 years of experience in corporate or litigation or both
Strong prioritization skills
Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and influencing skills, both written and verbal
Ability to build collegial and effective relationships with business clients, attorneys, project managers, and corporate compliance professionals
Knowledge of consumer finance laws, collections laws and supporting regulations and disclosures
Experience in PEZA and NLRC
Willing to work in a Hybrid setup and willing to work in Alabang
Willing to work in a mid shift schedule
