Description
The Learning and Development Manager provides guidance and support in the development of learning and assessment practices of all academic programs in the Institute in accordance with the Assurance of Learning Standards and under the direction of the Assistant Dean for Academic Programs.
Qualifications
Responsibilities
Education
Post-Degree Graduate (preferably Master's level)
Minimum experience
3 years of relevant experience in Learning and Development Management, Curriculum Planning and Design or equivalent
Provides guidance and support to all programs in curriculum development, planning, mapping, delivery and monitoring
Assists faculty in course development, including the construction of assessments
Undertakes regular review of all program curriculum vis-à-vis higher education and accreditation requirements
Provides guidance and support to school managers and program staff on evaluating the delivery of the programs through the assurance of learning process
Develops innovative teaching practices that support participant-centered learning
Coordinates with the Associate Dean and Registrar the implementation of academic policies and guidelines on Teaching and Learning, Curriculum, Assessment, and Marking
