LEAN ENGINEER
Responsible for analyzing single value streams to identify continuous improvement opportunities in the form of quality, safety, delivery, and cost.
About the job:
Optimize the layout, jigs and fixtures, man and machine to maximize capacity and revenues of the production floor and processes. (40%)
Data gather and analyzes the processes to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) (30%)
Draws initial conclusions based on analysis around processes improvement strategies for review with the lean team. (10%)
Tracks project progress to ensure quality and adherence to project and company objectives. (10%)
Supports a lean specialty sub-committee in the area of focus. (5%)
Other duties as assigned. (5%)
About you:
5+ experience as an Industrial Engineer in a Semi-con or Electronics manufacturing industry
Degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial Engineering
Understands the basic to intermediate Lean/Six Sigma, Operational Excellence tools, and IE Tools
Experienced in managing Projects
Record of process improvement
Knowledge of MS Office and AutoCad
Strong analytical skills
Strong communication skills
International experience working within a diverse workforce is a plus
