Responsibilities:
Define the team's technical direction and improve development practices.
Design and build highly scalable and high-performance software.
Drive software development in alignment with existing frameworks and the company's overall technology strategy.
Act as the technical escalation point, taking ownership of and resolving production incidents.
Support the technical growth of team members through coaching and mentorship
Qualifications:
Required:
Practical experience in Software Development, Engineering, or a related technical role.
Experience in designing, developing, and supporting cloud-first applications (especially AWS).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) practices.
Experience in a technical leadership capacity within a team, including mentoring or coaching junior members.
Preferred:
Experience working in the online marketplace industry.
Experience working with a geographically distributed team.
