Be a part of the EDC Team! 1. Conceptualize and implement an effective public relations plan and branding strategy for the company as the pioneer and leading renewable energy company in the country and for geothermal as its main product to enhance company image and reputation by: a. Implementing the necessary public relations strategies that promote the benefits of renewable energy, especially geothermal -- considering the necessary communication channels and messaging per target audience (customers, influencers, key stakeholders) b. Implementing the necessary public relations strategies that promote the benefits of getting power from the company 2. Increase awareness and appreciation for the company as a model sustainable corporate citizen (one that is financially stable and implements global best environmental and social practices) among identified stakeholders by: a. Implementing the necessary public relations strategies such as but are not limited to published news and information on its CSR projects, milestones, and achievements b. Establishing thought leadership in various media platforms c. Benchmarking communication programs vs. competitors and continuously researching and applying necessary PR trends, practices, and strategies 3. Produce and manage appropriate information tools such as but are not limited to website, social media assets, advertising materials, brochures, audio visual materials, annual reports 4. Provide the necessary creative information materials for various groups such as but are not limited to: brochures, audio visual presentations, event collaterals, events management, exhibit materials, speeches, presentation materials, advertising materials. - Consistently increase reach and engagement on EDC's main social media asset - At least 2 awards for PR programs and tools - Publish more press releases/featu re stories and gain more media coverage, online visibility to improve EDC's image and reputation Issues management 5. Manage, if not totally eliminate, negative publicity on the company through various media platforms (e.g., TV, radio, print, social media, ground) to prevent it from escalating into a public relations crisis 6. Implement the necessary communication plan and public relations strategies to manage the issue and, if possible, turn it into an opportunity to enhance or maintain the company's good image and reputation. 7. Establish and maintain good relations with key media persons and entities that are necessary in maintaining the company's good image and reputation and managing negative publicity to prevent a public relations crisis by: a. Understanding media behavior dynamics - to anticipate response to media-related events and situations before they happen b. Working with media -- develop and maintain good media contacts by constantly seeking ways to establish ties and maintain good working relationships with them as leverage to gain access to vital and sensitive industry and stakeholder information c. Assist company spokespersons and resource persons in preparing for their media interviews and gather media-relation information to ensure that they will be able to positively represent EDC.
