Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Responsible for intraday and daily performance monitoring of team members being supported.
-Responsible for communicating to all team members any new requirements, changes, updates on all support related information as well as company information
-Assist in the month end activities such as: review and finalization of monthly close package for all entities
-Responsible in making sure account recons are complete, accurate and submitted on time. Identifies month end issues and recommends points for improvement.
-Participates in preliminary Balance and Profit and loss reviews with General Accounting Manager.
-Handles Miscellaneous Receivables and communicate with ingot growers for silicon related transactions.
-Assist in the Monthly/Quarterly Annual Finance Reports such as Trial Balance and other finance reports.
-Interfaces purchasing departments to match billings against shipments of silicon to subcontractors.
-Monitors Expense Tooling account in relation to Prepaid Tooling.
-Maintains records of Insurance premiums to book proper insurance expense for the period.
-Maintains employee benefit file specifically car allowance and HMO benefits, amortizing it according to established accounting policy.
- Monitors the completion of accounting entries in the system during month-end and quarter end close.
-Initiates AGIS-an intercompany tool to charge other entities spend by SPML on their behalf and other related transactions which needs cross charging.
-Participates in automation of current manual accounting processes to establish more accuracy in bookings.
-Prepares account reconciliations for all accounts handled and prepares adjustments where needed.
-Participate in the clean-up of all entities.
-Monitors other miscellaneous accounts like Prepaid Rent and Prepaid Maintenance.
-Facilitates with internal and external auditors on periodic audits of financial statements.
-Tax compliance for all entities based on the recommendations of Reyes Tacandong and Co.
-Other tasks as maybe assigned from time to time.
Related Experience and Educational Requirements:
-Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy.
-CPA is a plus factor
-With at least 5 years of experience as GL accountant with recon analysis.
-A Team Player
-Can work with minimal supervision.
-With knowledge in Oracle.
-With very good communication skills;
-Very good in Excel, Word and Powerpoint Applications.
-Full-Time position available.
-Willing to work in Sta.Rosa, Laguna
