We are currently searching for an energetic, creative "Lead Designer" to work at our Milwaukee Asia Office in Hong Kong. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail will be key. We invite you to apply and learn more about our company & this opportunity.
Job Summary & Responsibilities:
This role will be crucial to designing digital assets and optimizing them based on their performance that blend content with commerce for our Asia digital properties -brand sites, marketing and social media channels.
Lead creative direction of marketing and promotion materials including leaflet, catalogue, banner, video, email campaigns, digital posts on social media etc
Research of user experience and behaviour (social media platforms, display advertising, eCommerce, websites and mobile apps)
Upkeep brand identity and responsible for brand guidelines management
Create User Interfaces for digital applications (focus on concepts, wireframes, interaction- and interface-design) with Adobe XD
Creation of UI concepts, prototypes while being responsibility for the visual design output
Pro-active collaborate with our local teams and headquarters
Research and evaluate innovative technologies
Make pro-active proposals to the project team and our clients how workflows can be optimized
Handle video editing from concept to implementation
Ensure consistency of brand and creative across all design materials
Handle ad hoc assignments as required.
Understand and respect the goals and work cooperatively within the existing parameters
Requirements
Job Qualifications Academic & Experience:
Diploma or above in digital design, multimedia design, graphic communications or related field.
At least 5 years of experience in Digital Design, preferably at a digital agency or inhouse team for a product-driven business.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Series - Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, XD, Sketch
Experience working directly with developers to implement designs
Experience designing e-commerce websites or advertising
Strong portfolio of design work, showing solution to business problems through effective design
Experience in editing raw video footage;
Experience in creating visual effects and 2D/3D animations
Experience in managing livestream event is a plus
Possess strong conceptual skills, high-level sense of design, composition and layout
Creative with passion and willing to work under pressure and tight schedule.
Proactive, responsible and able to work independently.
General:
Detail minded with can-do attitude
Languages - Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
Good IT skills e.g., MS Office, PowerPoint, Internet, etc.
Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving and relationship building skills
Excellent planning and time management skills
A highly motivated self-starter with strong individual and team working skills
Ability to work varied hours/days as required by the business
