THE POSITION
The position is responsible for all sales and technical aspects within the Layer sector of the poultry business in order to achieve planned sales and market share objectives with the execution of the Layer account strategies and technical support initiatives.
Tasks & responsibilities
Develops sales and technical strategies for layer sector, identify business opportunities and implement them to meet agreed objectives and budget.
Identify layer customer needs and make proposals for solutions that leads to maximum market penetration and optimal layer key account intimacy.
Provides and promotes appropriate scientific positioning of company layer products and services.
Provides technical services or support to layer customers and other internal or external stakeholders related to product usage, disease management, herd health management, and the technical competence of the team.
Ensures a strong technical presence in the layer market sector in the midst of the local operations, the other market players and the environment itself; to ensure effective collaboration with other teams in the OPU or in the region.
Coordinates / conduct technical trainings, symposiums, and workshop to both internal and external stakeholders.
Provides trial protocols and conduct field trials in coordination with the Poultry Technical Team.
Interaction and developing key relationship across the KA organization, especially key decision makers.
Supervise the Layer Technical Sales Specialist to define individual customer support (especially key accounts) to achieve sales objectives.
Requirements
BS Degree on Animal Health or Science preferably Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Knowledge and good relationship with the layer industry key influential person and customers.
Poultry experience is a must, preferably in Layer operations, health and management.
Good performance record of accomplishment with at least three years of experience in a technical or marketing role in the Animal Health industry, particularly on the Poultry segment preferably in a multinational company.
Excellent analytical skills and strong business acumen.
Proven ability to lead change through influence.
Strategic thinking. Proactive.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstration of the AAI behaviors.
