Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare bids and tenders for high end commercial and government projects
• Negotiate and review subcontract and head contract tenders including preparation of tender comparison for review
• Assist management team in project delivery
• Action project variations and claims
• Landscape Estimation - provide estimates and costings for carports, furniture, lightings, drainage and all other facets
• Thorough checking of details
Qualifications and Experience:
• Relevant tertiary qualification would be ideal
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience in Civil Landscaping business
• Good phone skills
• Ability to prepare quotations for large and small projects
• Knowledge in MS Excel, Word and Google Apps
• Ability to adapt to new tools and software
• High attention to detail
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to deliver without supervision
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• The drive and motivation to work in a dynamic and driven environment
• Experience in Planswift would be an advantage
• Previous industry experience and knowledge in Australian subcontract tendering, standards, and procedures would be ideal
